The Calcutta High Court on Tuesday directed Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami to pay alimony of Rs 4 lakh per month to his wife, Hasin Jahan, and daughter during the ongoing legal battle with her. Hasin Jahan and her lawyer, Imtiaz, have now given their statement on this decision.

Indian bowler Mohammed Shami wife, Hasin Jahan, says that she was a model and used to act before marriage. The bowler asked her to leave this profession, and she agreed to. Let us tell you that, on Tuesday, the Calcutta High Court directed Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami to pay alimony of Rs 4 lakh per month to his wife, Hasin Jahan, and daughter during the ongoing legal battle with him. A single bench of Justice Ajay Kumar Mukherjee passed the order to grant alimony.
After this order, Haseen Jahan’s statement has come out. She said that she used to do modeling before marriage, but Shami asked her to live as a housewife. Talking to news agency ANI, Haseen Jahan said- ‘I used to do modeling and acting before marriage. Shami forced me to leave my profession. He wanted me to live the life of a housewife only. I loved Shami so much that I happily accepted this… but now I do not have any income of my own. Shami will have to take all the responsibility for our maintenance.
