Indian javelin star Neeraj Chopra created history by throwing 90 meters in the men’s javelin throw event at Doha Diamond League 2025. India’s javelin throw star and two-time Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra is participating in his first event of 2025 at the Doha Diamond League. India’s athletics poster boy Neeraj Chopra is representing India in the Doha Diamond League along with Kishore Jena. At the same time, Gulveer Singh (men’s 5000 meters) and Parul Chaudhary (women’s 3000 meters steeplechase) also participated in this event on behalf of India.

Talking about the match, Neeraj started the competition by covering a distance of 88.44 meters in his first attempt. He also challenged his opponents and showed them what rhythm he was in. However, Chopra committed a foul on the second attempt. Despite this, he was still leading. However, in the last round, Julian Weber overtook Neeraj. Julian gave his season-best performance by throwing the javelin at 91.06 meters. Neeraj Chopra remained in second place. Whereas, Peters remained in third position.

Apart from Jacob Vadlej, Anderson Peters and Julian Weber have also participated in this tournament. However, Paris Olympic champion Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan has not participated in the tournament.
