Four criminals who were absconding in the firing case near Ujjain’s Nanakheda bus stand have surrendered in the court. They are said to be members of the Durlabh Kashyap gang. As soon as the news of the criminals appearing in court was received, the police arrived and all four were brought to the police station on one-day remand. A case was registered against 11 criminals in the firing case. The police have already arrested six criminals and sent them to jail. Now the search for one is on.
Shahnawaz Hussain, who killed the notorious gangster Durlabh Kashyap had reached the court on 5 December 2023 to testify with Lakhan, who was a witness in the section of the attempt to murder in the Neelganga police station area, from where he was returning with his companions Rafiq Khan, Javed and Fardeen in car number MP 13 CC 3007.
Shanu Bana, Abhishek Sharma, Abhishek Valmiki, and Roshan Sharma, who were absconding in the firing case, surrendered in the court. On receiving information, the police brought all four to the police station for questioning on a one-day remand. SI Sachindra Singh Sendhav said that Babu alias Tyre, Piyush Boxer, Surya Saude, Sajan Parmar, Shubham Mahavar, and Sachin, associated with the firing incident, were arrested earlier. Now the arrest of Neelu Sangat is pending in the case. He will also be taken into custody soon. Efforts are being made to recover the pistol and bike from the miscreants taken on remand.
