Private Dinner With President Biden Hosted By PM Modi; Dialogue On US-India Relations.

Just after Mr. Biden’s Air Force One touched down in Delhi ahead of the weekend’s G20 Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden had a private chat at Mr. Biden’s house in Delhi late on Friday night. Photos showing the two leaders conversing on “a wide range of issues (that) will further deepen bond between India and the US” posted by the Prime Minister’s Office.
Officials had previously stated that a variety of subjects, including a deal for jet engines, the purchase of predator drones, and collaboration on crucial technologies like 5G and 6G networks, expected to covered.

Deal with Biden?

A significant rail contract also mentioned, but US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan declined to corroborate these rumors. However, he did indicate that it is a project in which the US actively involved. He had stated, “We believe connectivity from India to Europe through the Middle East is extremely vital and would provide a variety of economic as well as strategic benefits to all nations concerned.

Following their private meeting, the Prime Minister will welcome Vice President Biden for supper.

Before leaving for India earlier today, Vice President Biden said on X (formerly Twitter) that “every time we (the G20) engage, we get better.” I’m going to the G20, which is the top platform for global economic cooperation, because I want to advance American goals, help developing countries, and demonstrate our support for the G20 as a body that can deliver, the president declared.

At this summit, which coincides with developing economies banding together — in organizations like BRICS — to guarantee their concerns addressed, the White House is eager to demonstrate the US can deliver for the globe.

The BRICS group, which comprises of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, China, and South Africa, said last month that it will welcome six additional countries to the organization.
