Even as President Droupadi Murmu’s invitation to the G20 leaders’ dinner sparked debate and rumors on Tuesday by referring to him as the “President of Bharat” rather than the more formal “President of India,” another document has surfaced that refers to Narendra Modi as the “Prime Minister of Bharat.”
‘Prime Minister of Bharat’ is used in a message regarding the Prime Minister’s trips to Indonesia on Wednesday and Thursday for the 20th ASEAN-India Summit and the 18th East Asia Summit.

What’s Other Political Experts Opinion?

Sambit Patra, the national spokesperson for the BJP, released the memo on X, formerly known as Twitter, and it immediately drew criticism from the Congress for using the terms “ASEAN-India Summit” and “Prime Minister of Bharat” in the same document.

“Look at how muddled the Modi administration is! At the 20th ASEAN-India summit was the Prime Minister of India. The Opposition banded together and named themselves INDIA, and now there’s all this drama,” Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh wrote on the platform.

‘Bharat – Official’ will now also appear on the identification cards of Indian representatives at the G20 Summit on September 9 and 10.

The President’s invitation to the G20 has generated discussion regarding the prospect of changing the nation’s name during the extraordinary session of Parliament from September 18 to 22. The rumors have only grown since the administration hasn’t released an agenda for the extraordinary session.

Arvind Kejriwal on BHARAT.

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, has questioned what the Centre will do if the bloc decides to rename itself “Bharat” in response to the opposition’s link to the potential move and its 28-party coalition declaring itself “INDIA.”

“Will the Center alter the name of the country just because various opposition parties have united behind the term INDIA? 140 crore people, not one party, are the true owners of the nation. Will they rename Bharat to BJP if the alliance’s name is changed to Bharat?, the AAP leader questioned on Tuesday.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted that the language of the Presidential invitation had made him proud. A number of BJP officials have praised the usage of the word “Bharat.”

He had written on X, “REPUBLIC OF BHARAT – Happy and Proud That Our Civilization is Marching Ahead Boldly Toward AMRIT KAAL.”

JP Nadda, the president of the BJP, also attacked the Congress, saying that the group opposed every topic “related to the honor and pride of the country.”
