The family of Mohammad Tarif, who was arrested on charges of spying for Pakistan against India, has reacted. In an exclusive conversation with ABP News, Tarif’s elder brother Javed has said that Tarif is a quack doctor in the village. Tarif has studied only till the 12th class. He runs a clinic, which is how he runs his household.
He further said, Mohammad Tarif has gone to Pakistan 3 times, but every time he has gone with his entire family. If he has really betrayed, then he should get full punishment. Betraying your land is not right.”
Meanwhile, the younger brother of Tarif, who was arrested on charges of espionage, said, “We don’t know anything about Tarif’s espionage. Police must have beaten Tarif so he must be confessing it himself. We don’t know what Sirsa airbase is?”
On the other hand, Tarif’s uncle Dalsher and sister say that if I too had been locked up and beaten up, I would have confessed anything. If Tarif had spied for money, then the money would have been visible. He lives in a one-room house.
Tarif has been arrested from the Nuh district of Haryana.
Tarif revealed during interrogation that he was in contact with two officials of the Pakistani embassy and had also provided them with SIM cards. These officials had also asked him to go to Sirsa and send pictures of the airport.
This was the second arrest in two days in Nuh on charges of espionage. Tarif is a resident of Kangarka village under the jurisdiction of Taoru police station in Nuh. Taoru police have registered a case against three people, including two employees of the Pakistani Embassy, and started an investigation. Police are interrogating the accused and have recovered a mobile phone from him.
