Four months are remaining for Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election. MP government is trying to confirm their votes by announcing and conforming different benefits to different classes of people. In this series, the government has brought the new Samvida Niti.
Cabinet Meeting outcomes
On Tuesday, Cabinet placed a proposal for Samvida Niti’s amendment. It will benefit 10 lakhs Samvida employees. A proposal was passed for 100% salary for 2.5 lakhs Samvida employees. Currently, they are getting only 90% pay of the permanent employee.
This proposal also gives place to Permanent employees. 7.5 lakh permanent employees will get an increment of 4% in dearness allowance (DA), now it will become 42%. CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan already announced both benefits in public at two different places.
Benefits to employees
Samvida employees will get a monthly benefit of 750 to 10, 000 Rs after a 10% increment in salary. After a 4% DA increment, permanent employees will get a monthly benefit of 900 to 6,500 Rs. They will get the arrear from January to June in 3 equal instalments. The process of yearly agreement of Samvida workers will end after the implementation of the new Samvida Niti.
They will have eligibility for a Part-time pension scheme, Compassionate appointments and benefit like a permanent employee. They will also have the benefits of casual, earned leave, Maternity Leave, Miscarriage leave, Health insurance and dearness allowance. In addition, Women Samvida Employees will get extra 7 days of casual leaves.
Time Scale for Employees
Cabinet has decided to provide a 4th timescale for employees, who completed 35 years on July 2023 of government service. These employees will get the benefit of 2,000 to 10,000 Rs. There is the possibility of an extra estimated expenditure of 1,520 Rs for paying the arrear of this financial year.
Ladli Behna Yojana
The cabinet amended a few provisions of the Ladli Behna Yojana. In the case of 1St January, those women who completed 21 years will also get the benefits of Ladli Laxmi Yojana. Moreover, Women families having tractors are also eligible. 18 lakh women will be benefited from the above two amendments.
Other Decisions
Besides these benefits, Cabinet agreed to the sanction of 1881 Cr Rs for the construction of roads and flyovers. They open recruitment for 19 posts for two district offices.
Construction work Acceptance
- Sanction of 147 Cr 92 Lakh Rs from Centre Road infrastructure fund for constructing Four lanes in Sehore district.
- 193 Cr 22 Lakh Rs from State Plan head for Four lanes in Khandwa district.
- 178Cr 22 Lakh Rs for Nagod to Maihar via Surdaha-Parasamaniya-Rampur-Maihar Road in Satna district.
- 129 Cr 81 Lakh Rs for road development in Sagar district.
- 926 Cr 21 Lakh Rs for four-lane elevated corridor/flyover on Swarnarekha river in Gwalior.
