Talking about her definition of love, Sushmita told Hindustan Times that for her, love is everything. It’s what she is made of, that’s how closely she associates with that word. However, it is not that love that you project or feel but the love you are. According to her, even loving another is to love yourself. There is that self-love that she speaks of which is on a cellular level.
When asked if she seeks validation like many women out there, Sushmita added that the idea that she has been able to find happiness in this space is because she is also built that way. According to her, nothing in life is more important than her freedom, her freedom to be who she is, and to choose the voice she wants to speak with. The actress also stated that she was 18 once and the world was all about the ‘somebody will complete me’ kind of scenario. She feels she is complete in herself
