Sunny Deol as Tara Singh has returned once again to create ‘Gadar’ Ek Prem Katha, released way back in 2001, still remains one of the most popular love stories Sunny Deol as Tara Singh, who falls in love with Pakistani girl Sakina and marries her soon welcoming a baby boy with her. Their picture-perfect life, however.

Sunny rocked his Tara Singh avatar with a matching grey turban as he interacted with the audience. The actor spoke to the fans in Punjabi and asked them to enjoy the film in theatres ahead of the grand release of the sequel to the film – Gadar 2. The film is going to hit the screens on August 11 during the long Independence Day weekend. Sunny interacted with the fans and told them about the special surprise at the end of the film. The actor revealed that the film will give a glimpse into the new world of Tara Singh.

Ameesha Patel took the mic and shared an interesting trivia, “Exactly 22 years ago, on June 9, 2001, I was doing press interactions. I was asked, ‘Ameesha ji, aaj aapka janamdin hai. What gift do you want?’. I replied, ‘Gadar – Ek Prem Katha will release on June 15.

When asked what to expect from the upcoming film, the actress shared, “It will be a visual delight for the audience because people are not going to realize that it has been a gap of 20 years. The film will come with great music, drama, comedy, and dialogue, where one can expect cheers, claps, and settings. The cinema which was missing for so long, will be recreated with Gadar coming back onto the big screen.”
