According to the prime minister’s office (PMO), who responded to a Right to Information (RTI) request. PM Narendra Modi has not taken a single leave of absence since taking office in 2014.

Two inquiries made in the RTI submitted by Prafful P. Sarda. The first concerned the number of days PM Modi has been in the office since taking office as India’s prime minister in 2014.

The second query concerned the specifics of how many occasions Modi has been present and has attended since becoming prime minister.

The PMO responded, “The Prime Minister is on duty constantly,” to the initial query. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not taken a vacation since assuming office.

Since becoming prime minister in May 2014. There have been over 3,000 events overall (including those in India and overseas.

Assam’s chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, posted a copy of the RTI on social media with the hashtag #MyPmMyPride.

In December 2015, a comparable RTI submitted. According to the response to that RTI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had not taken any time off from his job. This information relates to PM Narendra Modi’s first term in office.
