PM Modi to Inaugurate 8,000 Crore Worth of Construction Projects in Telangana

In Telangana on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially open construction projects worth more than 8,000 crore in advance of the state elections later this year.

“The first 800 MW Unit of Phase 1 of the Telangana Super Thermal Power Project of NTPC will dedicated to the nation in keeping with the Prime Minister’s aim of boosting power generation with increased energy efficiency in the nation. It would help Telangana flourish economically by giving the state access to affordable power. Additionally, the power plant will be among the most ecologically friendly in the nation, according to a statement from the prime minister’s office.

The new railway line between Manoharabad and Siddipet as well as the electrification project between Dharmabad – Manoharabad and Mahabubnagar – Kurnool will dedicated by the prime minister on Monday. “The 76 km long Manoharabad-Siddipet rail line will boost the socio-economic development of the region, especially in the districts of Medak and Siddipet,” the statement said.

The project to electrify the rail lines connecting Dharmabad, Manoharabad, and Mahabubnagar, Kurnool would assist increase train speeds on average and promote environmentally friendly rail travel in the area. Additionally, the region’s local rail passengers will benefit from the start of the Siddipet-Secunderabad-Siddipet train service, according to the statement.

On Monday, Modi will dedicate NMDC’s steel facility in Nagarnar in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar district to the country. Additionally, he will formally launch various train projects in the state and lay foundation stones.

So the Prime Minister officially laid the groundwork for the Rs. 152 crore project, which will see the long-delayed modernization of the Visakhapatnam Fishing Harbour get underway. With safe landing and berthing, the handling capacity will increase from 150 to 300 tonnes per day as a result of this.
