Mission Raniganj Box Office Collection Day 5:Akshay Kumar’s film earns ₹1.5 crore, slowly inches towards ₹20 cr in India.

Mission Raniganj Box Office: Akshay Kumar’s Mission Raniganj continues to struggle as the movie fails to perform at the box office even on the weekend. According to industry tracker, Sacnilk, the movie collected Rs 1.50 crore on its first Monday with an overall occupancy of 9.23 percent in the Hindi-speaking market.

The movie had a low start on its opening day and collected only 2.8 crore, followed by Rs 4.80 crore on Saturday and 5 crore on Sunday. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan’s month-old movie Jawan is still roaring at the box office and collected Rs 2.96 crore on Sunday, taking its worldwide gross collection to Rs 1117 crore.

On Monday, Akshay also unveiled the song Jeetenge from the film. The motivational victory song has been sung by B Praak and the singer has also featured in the music video. Dr Kumar Vishwas has penned the song and Arko has composed it. also stars Parineeti Chopra and Kumud Mishra.

It is based on the true life event of the late Jaswant Singh Gill, who led India’s first successful coal mine rescue mission in November 1989. It has been directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Ajay Kapoor.

Akshay had worked with Tinu on the 2016 film Rustom. Recently, Akshay called one of his best films. He said during a press conference, as per ANI, “Tinu deserves the National Award. He’s been with the screenplay for the last 4-5 years, he has worked so hard.
