Karan Johar is back with his upcoming family drama movie ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, which will hit theaters on July 28. It is expected to bring back the ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ nostalgia, with its typical Karan Johar colors, costumes, and imagery. The film is being dubbed as a potential winner for who is known for his expertise in emotional family drama movies.
Thankfully, avoiding any experimentation, now Karan Johar has got back on its winning horse with his upcoming ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The emotional, colorful family drama has always been his strength- no need of naming his films that made our hearts gladden- clue: they both started with the letter K- KJo is back to doing what he did best. This one is being said as it is, the final verdict will of course be delivered on July 28 when it hits the theatres.
The media had the opportunity to see the teaser of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’- a day before its official release, which is tomorrow.
Alia Bhatt has danced like she has never danced before. Ranveer Singh looked fabulous. Hair flying, those plain chiffon sarees. Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi brought so much warmth to the heart and a smile on the lips.
The colors were typical of Karan Johar’s. The costumes too, even the way Ranveer holds Alia, all reminded us of ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’.
We strongly hope that we see Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in longer roles in the film- just like we saw Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan in ‘K3G’.
