On June 12, actress Karisma Kapoor ex-husband, Sanjay Kapoor, died while playing polo. The cause of his death is said to be a heart attack. At the same time, there is news in many reports that while playing polo, a bee went into his throat, due to which he had trouble breathing and suffered a heart attack. However, this has not been confirmed yet.
Seven days after his death, on June 19, he was immersed in the five elements. His last rites were performed at Dayanand Muktidham on Lodhi Road in Delhi. Karisma Kapoor came to Delhi with her two children and sister Karisma and Saif. Now on June 22, a prayer meet was organized for the peace of his soul.
Karisma was spotted at the Mumbai airport with her children on Sunday afternoon, where she was seen dressed in white. She was followed by Kareena and Saif, who went inside, dodging the paparazzi. Sanjay’s prayer meeting will be held at the Taj Palace in Delhi on Sunday. Sanjay married Karisma in 2003, but their marriage turned sour after some time,e and the couple officially separated in 2016. During the divorce case, Karisma accused Sanjay of domestic violence and also claimed that he forced her to sleep with his friends on their honeymoon.
In the year 2023, after a long time, Karishma and Sanjay were seen coming out of a restaurant in Mumbai. Both were coming out after having dinner.
