US Secretary of State Antony Blinken described how the two countries are working together to promote equitable economic opportunity, ensure community security, and strengthen economic resilience.
“We’re utilizing innovation to strengthen our economies and increase the safety of our communities while broadening equitable economic opportunities,” the top US diplomat stated in her opening statement at the yearly “two-plus-two” meetings between the foreign and defense ministers of the two nations.
Blinken highlighted particular areas of cooperation, including advances in advanced biology and semiconductors, demonstrating the breadth of technical cooperation between the US and India. Additionally, he mentioned the previously unheard-of investments made in the region’s and the nations’ large-scale deployment of sustainable energy.
