The makers of the highly-anticipated film ‘Project K’, starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan in the lead, have finally unveiled the first glimpse at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), with the official title announcement. The film is now officially titled ‘Kalki2898AD’. This cinematic masterpiece has been hailed as a seamless fusion of science fiction and unprecedented storytelling, setting new benchmarks for the genre.
The grand unveiling of ‘Kalki2898AD’ took place at the prestigious San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), where the film captivated audiences with its visionary concept and spellbinding visuals. The new title perfectly encapsulates the essence of the film, generating curiosity and excitement among fans and cinephiles worldwide.
The panel at SDCC comprised Nag Ashwin, Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Rana Daggubati. Big B joined via video call. Kamal, while speaking of Indian cinema recalled watching the iconic film Sholay starring Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, and Jaya Bachchan.
Kamal was heard saying, “I was an assistant director on Sholay. I couldn’t sleep the night I watched it because I hated the film so much. I hated the filmmaker even more. I had the opportunity of working with a great filmmaker and that was my reaction and I told him. As a technician, I couldn’t sleep that night and Amitji has done many such movies. His saying nice things about my films is something I had never imagined.
