Television Actor Nitesh Pandey dies at 50

According to media reports , Nitesh Pandey was shooting in Igatpuri near Nashik in Maharashtra where he was found dead in his hotel room ,” TV actor Nitesh Pandey found dead at a hotel in Igatpuri , Nashik in Maharashtra . Prime facie , the cause of death seems to be a heart attack . A police team present at the hotel staff and people close to him is being done ,” news agency ANI tweeted . Pandey memorably played the role of Mani , the secretary of a Dehli theatre actor , in Dibakar Banerjee National Award winning film Khosal Ka Ghosal ( 2006) . He also also played Shah Rukh Khan assistant in Om Shanti Om ( 2007 ) . His other notable film appearance were in Baazi ( 1995 ) , Hunterr ( 2015 ) and others .

Pandey was born in Nainital , Uttarakhand . He started out in theatre in the 1990s and later had a successful career in television . His first TV role was as a detective in the show Tejas . Over the years , he appeared in serials like Manzilen Apani Apani , Astitva … Ek Prem Kahani , Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara and Indiawaali Maa . He played Dheeraj Kapoor in the successful ongoing Star Plus serial Anupamaa .

Television actor Nitesh Pandey died of a cardiac arrest at the age of 50 . The news of Pandey death was confirmed by his brother – in Law , producer Siddharth Nagar . ” Yes you have heard it right . my brother – in – law is no more , my sister Arpita Pandey is in a state of shock . Nitesh father has left for Igatpuri to get his mortal remains . They should be here by the afternoon . we have not been able to even talk to Arpita after the tragedy ,” Nagar told .
