Former India captain and one of the greatest batsmen in cricket history, Sachin Tendulkar turns 48 today. The Little Master, whose full name is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, was born on this day in 1973 in a Maharashtrian family in Dadar, Mumbai.

India legend Sachin Tendulkar is celebrating his 48th birthday today (April 24). Known as the Master Blaster, Tendulkar is in Mumbai and will be celebrating the occasion with his family members. In normal circumstances, he would have been with Mumbai Indians (MI) for the ongoing IPL season. But he recently recovered from COVID-19 and is spending time with his family.
One of the greatest batsmen to have graced the game, Tendulkar owns countless batting and other records which he created during his 24-year long international career. The international cricket’s highest run-scorer, Tendulkar also finished his career as the most capped player.
