Prabhas has been moving swiftly from one mega-budget project to the next. After creating quite the buzz for his role in Adipurush, the actor will soon be back on the big screens in another epic ‘Project K. On Sunday, news of Legendary actor Kamal Haasan’s addition to the starry cast got fans excited about the new film. Shortly after, rumors ran wild that ‘Project K’ will now have a Rs 600 crore budget, with Rs 200 crore spent on just actors’ fees.
Unconfirmed reports claim that Prabhas is apparently charging a whopping sum of Rs 150 crore while Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone are being paid an estimated Rs 10 crore each. The newest addition to the cast, Kamal Haasan is reportedly being paid Rs 25 crore. Rumors were rife that Prabhas took home a Rs 100 crore paycheque for his turn as Lord Ram in Adipurush, however, there is no confirmation about the same
Helmed by Nag Ashwin, the film which also stars Disha Patani, is all set to hit the theatres on January 12, 2024. Project K’ is a bilingual film shot simultaneously in two languages – Hindi and Telugu. The film will also mark Deepika’s debut in the Telugu film market.
The total remuneration of the movie has become Rs 200 crore, and the total production cost is Rs 400 crore. Now, hold your hearts because the total budget of the movie is about to be repealed, and it is – *drumrolls* – Rs 600 crore! It is Rs 100 crore more than that of Adiprurush, and we are stunned right now.
