After, a long wait 9,000 unemployed youth was getting the job. Immorality in exam conduction not only shattered youth dreams but also raises many questions about the legality of the government recruitment process. Amid the allegations on the sanctity of the examination, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan stopped the recruitment instantly.

Furthermore, He ordered to review results of the examination centre held in Gwalior. Which was scheduled at the NRI College of Engineering and Management owned by Madhya Pradesh MLA Sanjeev Kushwaha (now in BJP). Not only, 114 candidates were selected from this centre. Among the top 10 candidates of the Patwari exam, 7 candidates belong to this centre.

These two bases give rise to doubt about the recruitment scam. In the event of this, Students protested in Bhopal, Indore, and other districts of MP.  At the start of the day, MP Home Minister Narottam Mishra denied the irregularities in the exam process. Conversely, CM gave the order in the evening to review the result of the alleged examination centre.

Allegations on Exam Conduction

Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) examined the recruitment of group-2 (Sub group-4) and Patwari in March-April this year. 7 Toppers from the alleged examination centre NRI College of Engineering and Management scored between 174.88 to 183.86. Also, there is an allegation that the roll number of these candidates starts from the same series like ”2488”. In signature column 5 candidates only write their names.

Vyapam 2.0

As the exam was conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board, which was previously known as Vyapam. The government renamed it after the Vyapam Scam. Is it “the new cover for the old box “? Former MP Rahul Gandhi twitted “MP Patwari Exam Scam is Vyapam 2.0 Scam. The BJP government is stealing employment from thousands of youths.” Moreover, Congress asked for a CBI investigation.
