Iconic star-actor Dharmendra is very happy that his grandson Karan Deol is getting married on June 18. However, he is unlikely to attend any of the other pre-wedding functions and celebrations. Let the children have fun. If I am around they are likely to get inhibited. I don’t want them to miss out on any of the fun,” that says the ever-affable Dharmendra, adding that he would be heading straight to the wedding.

The Deol family is on cloud nine as Sunny Deol’s son, Karan Deol, got roofied to his longtime girlfriend, Drisha Acharya on June 12, 2023. The entire family was present at the ceremony to bless the newly-engaged couple and shower love on them. For the unversed, rumors about Karan and Drisha’s relationship have been rife in the media for quite some time now. However, it was Karan’s grandfather, Dharmendra, who confirmed the news.

Rumors about Karan Deol’s engagement to Drisha, the great-granddaughter of the filmmaker Bimal Roy, circulated last year. Karan’s staff dismissed the engagement and claimed, “Karan and Drisha are childhood friends. The news about them getting engaged is not true.”

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas” marks Karan’s acting debut in 2019 after he served as an assistant director on “Yamla Pagla Deewana 2.” Soon, you can see him in “Apne 2,” which also stars Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol.

Drisha is the great-granddaughter of acclaimed filmmaker Bimal Roy. According to a report in a news portal, she stays in Dubai and works as a manager at a travel agency.

Reportedly Karan and Disha will host a star-studded reception party at Taj Land’s End in Bandra on June 18th. The invitees will be the who’s who of Hindi as well as the South film industry.
