The wake of rising coronavirus cases, ‘corona curfew ‘ has been extended in Bhopal Municipal corporation and Berasia municipality areas till april 26 to tackle the COVID-!9 spread. The curfew will be observed from 6 am on April 10 to 6 am on April 26. Bhopal on Saturday recorded 1,669 COVID-19 cases, taking the toll here to 66,891. Bhopal lockdown situation is getting worst day by day as the cases are increasing along with that people are loosing their livelihood.
Bhopal daily activities will continues as it is while the inter-state and inter district movement of essential services will also be allowed during the period of the curfew. The Bhopal ‘Crisis Management Group’ decided to impose the ‘Corona curfew’ in the city from tuesday onwards till april 19 , 6 am . Madhya Pradesh Minister Vishwas Kailash sarang stressed that this is only a ‘Corona curfew ‘ not a lockdown. Hence , vaciination drive , hospitals , petrol pumps , banks , grocery shopd , ambulance , fire brigades , movement of labourers , agri service and dine – in facilities will remain operational during the special curfew.
The CM added the state government is making relentless efforts to fights COVID-19 and sought support from the public. “if we have to combat the infection , we have to be aware first , “he said . Chouhan , on saturday , had conducted a meeting with a nurses and paramedical staff via video conference.
Madhya Pradesh , reported 4,986 COVID-19 cases on saturday , the state’s biggest single-day spike , which pushed its infection count to 3,32,206, said an official. The All india Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) , Bhopal , has begun researching on COVID-19 by conducting autopsies on bodies of positive patients to figure out the virus’ impact on organs and correlate autopsy findings with clinicopathological ones and similar studies worldwide.
On Monday 1,703 new infection cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed in the state capital. Five deaths due to coronavirus were reported on Monday in the state heath bulletin taking the death toll in Bhopal to 679. Till date ,70273 people have been infected with the virus since pandemic began . On Thursday 1,522 people recoverd from the infection there were 8934 active cases of COVID_19 in the City.
