Actress Vaibhavi Upadhyay Dies In a Car Accident

Actor Vaibhavi Upadhyay , best known for her role in the TV show ” Sarabhai vs Sarabhai : Take 2 ,’ died in a road accident on Monday News of the actor death was confirmed by show producer JD Majethia in an Instagram post . Upadhyay was travelling in a fortuner in the Kullu districk of Himachal Pradesh wahen her SUV fell into a gorge . She was with her fiance at the time of the road accident , who is safe . the accident occurred while trying to navigate a steep turn .

Vaibhavi Upadhyay tried to get out of the vehicle through the window and sustained a head injury which proved fatal while the other passenger was safe ,” SP Kullu Sakshi Verma told PTI . Vaibhavi last rites will be held in Mumbai . The actor was in her 30s .

The news was very heart breaking and comes just days after the shocking passing of another young actor Aditya Singh Rajput . It was revealed that she was travelling with her fiance Jay Gandhi and after the major accident , they were taken to hospital . Vaibhavi sadly passed away .

In almost what seems like a miracle , we got the exclusive update that Vaibhavi fiance Jay Ghandhi has actually survived the accident . Not much is know about his condition . Vaibhavi and Jay were known to be nature lovers and they were taking this trip together. Vaibhavi Upadhyay was known for her work in various TV serials like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai 2 starring Ratna Pathak Sah and Rupali Ganguly and Kya Kasoor Hai Amala Ka starring Pankhuri Awasthy Rode and Rajeev Singh .
