Advocate Mahipal Vishnoi said that on October 1, 1998, a blackbuck was hunted during the shooting of a film in Kankani village of Jodhpur. In this case, the court acquitted Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, and Dushyant Singh by giving them the benefit of the doubt. In this case, the CJM court sentenced film actor Salman Khan to 5 years in jail. The state government has challenged this decision in the High Court.

The state government’s appeal will include matters related to the permission of the transfer petition and the punishment of Salman Khan. On behalf of the government, a leave to appeal was presented in the court against the acquittal of film actors Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Dushyant Singh.

Justice Manoj Garg’s court has ordered to list the leave to appeal filed by the government along with other cases related to Salman Khan. Now this case will be heard along with the cases related to Salman Khan on July 28. Leave to appeal is given after the time limit for filing an appeal in any case has passed.
