Turkish company Asis Guard has the contract for the Bhopal-Indore Metro. It is installing an automatic fare collection system at the stations. Congress also came out in protest against this on Wednesday. Congressmen surrounded the Metro office under the leadership of former minister PC Sharma. Slogans of Pakistan Murdabad were also raised here. Sharma said that Turkey has supported Pakistan. In such a situation, the country is in danger. Turkey can put the country in trouble through software. The tender should be canceled within seven days.
Sharma said that 7 days have been given. In this period, the Metro Corporation should remove the Turkish goods, otherwise a big demonstration will be held in front of the Metro office. Congress gave a memorandum to Metro Project GM Ajay Gupta. Congress leaders Yogendra Singh Guddu Chauhan, Praveen Saxena, Rahul Singh Rathore were also present during the demonstration.
MP Metro Corporation had called international tenders in the year 2024 for automatic fare collection at metro stations. A total of 3 companies had submitted the tender. One of these was Turkey’s Asis Elektronik Blissim Systemleri, while the other two companies were NEC Corporation India Private Limited and Shelling Forsk Global Digital Technology.
