Shocking cases related to love jihad are coming to light in Madhya Pradesh’s capital Bhopal. A Hindu youth trapped a Muslim girl by changing his name and after raping her, he pressurized her to change her religion for marriage. However, the situation is different in the latest case reported from the Ashoka Garden police station area. In this, the Hindu youth is the victim and a Muslim woman is the accused, who is already married and has three children.
Let us tell you, till now most of the accused in love jihad cases were from the Muslim community. In these, allegations the victim girl or woman was a Hindu. But, the two cases that have come up recently surprised the police as well. The police have started an investigation into the complaint of the victim Hindu youth. However, the case has not been registered yet, there is a possibility of registering a case after investigation.
According to the police, the victim Shekhar Silawat is originally from Narmadapuram district of Madhya Pradesh. He lives in the Chanakyapuri colony and works in a private job. In the complaint application given to Ashoka Garden Police, Shekhar told that he got acquainted with a girl named Shreya living in his colony through Facebook and Instagram. Both of them became friends after talking. When they met after a few days, she (Shreya) said that she studies alone.
