Addressing the Parliament, Ishaq Dar said the decision was taken during a hotline contact between the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of the two sides on May 14, Geo TV reported.

After this claim of Ishaq Dar, questions are being raised about whether the military conflict between India and Pakistan is going to start again. Can a situation of military tension arise again between the two countries after May 18? The ministers of the Shahbaz government are constantly threatening India that if the Indus Water Treaty is not restored, the ceasefire will be canceled.

After the Pahalgam attack, India also suspended the Indus Water Treaty. On this matter, the Foreign Minister said, “The Indus Water Treaty is suspended and will remain suspended until cross-border terrorism is stopped credibly and irreversibly by Pakistan.

On 22 April, Pakistan-backed terrorists killed 26 innocent people in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. After this attack, India made tough decisions against Pakistan. After this, the Indian Army bombed 9 locations in Pakistan and occupied Kashmir under Operation Sindoor. More than 100 terrorists were killed in the army action.
