On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleged that Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was too preoccupied defending his chair against the ‘Delhi durbar’ plot to overthrow his administration to provide for the state. PM Modi remarked, “The people of Rajasthan were left on their own while the CM was busy handling the Delhi durbar,” while speaking to a public gathering in Nagaur, Rajasthan. They are starting to gel now that the elections are approaching, albeit grudgingly.”
PM Modi related a story about a woman who sent out cards inviting everyone to her home for a “century” celebration, saying that “everyone was surprised as to what this century event was.” That day, the wife informed them, her husband will give up smoking for the hundredth time. Her spouse had already given up smoking for the 99th time.”

Here, the narrative is the same. As important figures have arrived from Delhi, Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot have clasped hands in front of the cameras a hundred times. There has been no unanimity. PM Modi stated, “With resentment in their hearts, they are just acting unitedly,” although he did not mention Gehlot or Pilot by name. Instead, he called Sachin Pilot “bechara,” the “chief minister-in-waiting.”
During Gandhi’s campaign, Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot spotted with Rahul Gandhi, which prompted the criticism. Rahul Gandhi declared that the Rajasthan Congress united in a powerful statement of solidarity. “We are together; we not just together. And Rajasthan will swept by the Congress,” Rahul Gandhi declared.
For the previous three years, the Congress plagued by the simmering antagonism that existed between Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot, his former deputy. Gehlot had labeled Pilot a “traitor” and referred to Pilot as “nikamma” after Pilot had revolted against him. Sachin Pilot began his yatra early this year, raising concerns about corruption in his own administration. They now spotted together during the campaign, though. Sachin Pilot spotted in a photo that Ashok Gehlot recently shared during a party gathering. “Together winning, once again,” Gehlot added.
