Ranveer Singh took a dramatic pause at Manish Malhotra’s show to plant a kiss on his actor-wife Deepika Padukone’s cheek. Celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra hosted a grand Bridal Couture show in Mumbai last night, with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt appearing as the showstoppers. Ranveer’s actor-wife Deepika Padukone, mom Anju Bhavnani, director Karan Johar, actor Kajol, and also Alia’s mom Soni Razdan, among others, were seen in the front row.
Ranveer Singh, who never misses a chance to fawn over his wife, took a pause on the ramp, walked towards Deepika, and planted a kiss on her cheek. Ranveer was also seen touching his mother’s feet and seeking her blessings. He also hugged Karan Johar, before continuing down the ramp.
Ranveer’s gestures are being received with love from fans on social media. His admirers could not stop gushing over the couple’s cute moment at the show. Ranveer was dressed in a white sherwani, while Deepika was seen in an off-white net saree. At around the same time, her fellow cast members in the upcoming Kalki 2898 AD were promoting the movie at the San Diego Comic-Con. Deepika couldn’t attend the event because she is forbidden from participating in promotional activities as per SAG guidelines.
